GU 2024 session NP6.5: Turbulence, magnetic reconnection, shocks and particle acceleration: nonlinear processes in space, laboratory and astrophysical plasmas

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the following NP6.5 EGU2024 session, dedicated to non-linear processes in plasma physics, like turbulence, magnetic reconnection, shocks and particle acceleration.

This session welcomes simulation, observational, and theoretical works relevant to studying the abovementioned processes. Particularly welcome this year will be works focusing on how non-linear processes are responsible for the energy transfer between fields and species and energy partition among species. We also encourage papers proposing new methods in simulation techniques and data analysis, for example, those rooted in Artificial Intelligence and GPU algorithms or those based on multi-point satellite observations

The next EGU general assembly is going to be held in Vienna from 14 to 19 April 2024.
The deadline for abstract submission is 10 January 2024 at 13:00 CET.
