SOLARNET Public Engagement Workshop

The SOLARNET workshop is due to start at 9am CEST on Monday 12 April. Apologise for the previous mix-up with the time zones!

Please take the time before the workshop to read through the short document that is attached to this email. It gives the link to the Zoom meeting room on Monday, along with an outline of the schedule for the two days and a code of conduct for the workshop.

We are keen for you to share your outreach work with us and the other participants, although this is not mandatory. So, if you feel comfortable, we would like you to share your previous Public Engagement work on the second day. If you are keen to do this, then you may like to prepare 2-3 images or slides to help you share your work.

We are very much looking forward to this event. It is going to be great to meet everyone and we are excited to work with your over the two days, and learning from each other.

It is a pity that we cannot meet in person, but we will do our best to keep the sessions enjoyable and useful, and the workshop will be as close as we can get to the social/participatory experience we prefer (as much as we can manage over Zoom).

We appreciate that people are joining us from all around the world, and from various stages of lockdown, working from home, and with childcare and other challenges - we are sure we'll all make our best efforts both from our own circumstances, and in our patience with other participants.

See everyone next week.

Best wishes,

Richard and the NUSTEM team
