Position on Space Weather at Genova

The MIDA group, Dipartimento di Matematica, Università di Genova ( https://mida.unige.it/ ), is opening a post-doc position within the framework of the recently funded EU project

Active Region Classification and Flare Forecasting (ARCAFF)

The fellowship is for one year (renewable to two years) and will begin in Spring 2023.

The group is looking for candidates with expertise in machine/deep learning; experience in the analysis of space weather data is considered as a plus.

We are available to organize calls for providing more details about the position, the ARCAFF EU project, and the MIDA group.
